NATT to launch website with dynamic packaging :
New Allied Tours and Travels (NATT), a Kochi-based inbound tour operator will launch a website to enable inbound travellers to create their own packages and itineraries. The website will offer facility to book dynamic packages that will allow tourists to choose their requirements on the website. The website will be launched by January 2009, though the URL of the website is still being worked upon. The website will have a special focus on the home stay concept in Kerala. Along with the home stay concept, it will also offer plantation houses, farm stays etc. to end consumers.
“We are still working on the website and it is very early to disclose the URL. Apart from regular packages to Kerala and other states, this website will also focus on the upcoming home stay concept. We have our network of home stays,” stated K N Shastry, Managing Director, New Allied Tours and Travels.
The company currently handles 1,000 passengers across different markets and is targeting close to 4,000 passengers both domestic and international for the next financial year. “With the website coming up, it will expand the scope of tourists coming into Kerala, as it will increase our reach to end consumers,”informed Shastry. Further more, the company which also deals in providing transport to tourists will double its current fleet strength of 16 cars by March 2009. The fleet includes small, medium, and heavy vehicles.
